Data we may receive

When you email us, we may receive information you choose to provide: name, email address, company and role, professional contact details, information about your inquiry or project, and drawings, photographs, renderings or other documents you attach. Sensitive personal data is not needed for ordinary inquiries; please do not include it in messages or files.

Purposes of processing

We use the information needed to respond, assess the requirements you share, prepare a proposal or quotation if requested, follow up on the professional relationship, and meet applicable legal obligations. These purposes relate to the inquiry or relationship you initiate with COVER. We do not use contact data received for unrelated marketing campaigns without informing you and obtaining consent where required.

Limiting use and disclosure

You may ask us to limit use or disclosure of your data for purposes that are not essential to handling your request. Email info@coverlightstructures.com with the subject “Personal data limitation” and describe the information and scope of your request. We will reply through the same channel.

Processors and transfers

Email and website hosting providers may process data on COVER’s behalf and under its instructions. We do not sell personal data or disclose it for third-party advertising. If a transfer to a third party becomes necessary, we will handle it under applicable law and request consent when required. We may disclose information to an authority where a valid legal obligation applies.

Retention and protection

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was received and applicable legal or contractual obligations. It will then be deleted or blocked as appropriate. We apply administrative, technical and physical measures appropriate to the information processed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss or alteration.

Access, rectification, cancellation, objection and withdrawal

You may request access to, rectification or cancellation of your personal data, object to its processing, or withdraw consent where applicable. Email info@coverlightstructures.com with the subject “Data rights”. Include:

• Your name and a way to receive notices.
• Documents proving your identity or legal representation, as applicable.
• The personal data involved and the right you wish to exercise; a description of the data is not required for access requests.
• Information that helps us locate the data. For rectification, specify the change and provide supporting documentation.

Response periods

We will communicate our determination within 20 business days after receiving a rights request. If granted, the request will be carried out within 15 business days after the response is communicated. These periods may be extended once for an equal period when justified, as provided by law.

Changes to this notice

The current version will be available on this page. If new purposes or material processing changes are introduced, we will update the notice before applying them and communicate changes by an appropriate method where the law requires it.
